Between the 3rd and 6th of June 2010, an international conference with the title “Neo-Patristic Synthesis or Post-Patristic Theology: Can Orthodox Theology be contextual?” was held in Volos (Greece). It was organized by the Academy of Theological Studies in Volos, in cooperation with the Program of Orthodox Studies of the University Fordham (New York), the Department of Orthodox Theology of the University in Münster and the Romanian Institute for Inter-Orthodox, Inter-confessional and Inter-religious Studies (INTER) in Cluj-Napoca.
